Tarabochia Group manning department boasts a thirty-year experience in the Shipping Agency manning activities, specifically in the drilling and offshore sectors.

Tailor made solutions and complete services are offered to our Customers throughout the duration of the contract (work employment) between Shipowners and Seafarers, starting from the recruitment, administration, management of transfers, till the contract closure.

Our Company offers consultation and administration services such as: Payroll and accounting: service including, but not limit, estimation costs, payroll processing with relative national contribution and fiscal duties, final statement and accountancy procedures in accordance with the criteria provided by Customers.

  • Seafarer’s Training management: planning and organizing training sections for the seafarers, in cooperation with the best training centres recognized by the Italian Ministry of Transportation.
  • Foreign flag endorsement administration: our Company is recognized by Maritime Authorities of Bahamas, Portugal, Marshall Island and Panama. This enabling us to obtain the endorsements and discharge certificates within a short time.
  • Selection and enrollment of seafarers in the respect of the standards requested by the Shipowner with the completion of the embark and disembark formalities in accordance with laws and rules in force.

Seafarers transfers management: in cooperation with specialized travel agencies our Company arranges and books hotel accommodation, flights, trains, car renting and any kind of logistics requirements.

Payroll management

Seafarers’ collective agreement is currently among more structured ones due to presence of many rules and benefits that complicate its implementation. Therefore, payroll processing is quite complex and requires specific applications and specialized staff.

Manning department boasts a thirty-year experience in the sector, particularly we can manage all the legislative and administrative issues in connections with the different embarking conditions that Shipowners or Seafarers can face: Italian flag legislation, international register, foreign flag legislation, offshore and onshore positions.

Our main services include:

  • Monthly and annual processing, administration and payments of national contribution and social security dues.
  • Relationship and Interaction with private and public institutions and authorities such as: INPS, Foreign Navigation, Fanimar, Cas.co.di, P&I clubs etc.
  • Administration of the economic treatments in case of illness, injury etc., and completion of all formalities with the pertinent institutions.
  • Monthly allocations and TFR (severance pay) processing
  • Final accounting and data processing according with the criteria required by Customers
  • Management consulting regarding collective agreements and others specific agreements notified by Customers
  • Personnel cost analysis

Seafarers recruiting activity is carried out through many research channels, both using proper web sites and to direct contact with Port Administrations and Seafarers’ associations.

We select qualified and certified Seafarers, suitable and in line with Shipowners criteria and requirements

Particular attention is paid to officers and ratings with offshore experience, Italian nationality and high level of competency and professionality.

 

Usage of our constantly updated database allows us to quickly check the seafarers availability for embarking together with all information about their certificates and other data.
